Our brains are hard wired to help us survive. This makes fear an unavoidable reality that we will all face throughout every aspect of life.
Isaiah 12:2 says, “Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, the Lord, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.”
My takeaway from this message is that we should not try to avoid or run from fear, but rather use it as an immediate trigger to turn our trust to the Lord. This simple act will draw us closer and create an intimacy that is well worth the effort.
