Sunday Post: Walk By Faith, Not By Sight

The definition of Faith is to have complete trust or confidence in something.  In 2 Corinthians 5:7, the Apostle Paul tell us, “For we walk by Faith, not by sight.”  In Galatians 5:25, he tells us, “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”

The concept Paul is referring to is the concept of walking by Faith in the Holy Spirit, which can empower one to live beyond their natural ability and strength.  The concept is for one to rely not on their own strength, but rather on the strength of the Holy Spirit which is limitless.  Our relationship with the Holy Spirit is a journey, not a destination.  As you walk along your journey, I encourage you to walk by Faith and tap into the Holy Spirit, rather than by sight and your own understanding.
