Dominate Thoughts

What are your dominate thoughts?  I have noticed that "what" we think about has a huge impact on ones level of success.  Here are a few examples:

Sam Walton said, "It's almost embarrassing to admit this, but it's true: There hasn't been a day in my adult life when I haven't spent some time thinking about merchandising."

Robert Woodruff said, "The successful man doesn't just think about his business while at work, he thinks about his business all the time."

Napoleon Hill said, "Both poverty and riches are the offspring of thought."

From his beginning days in merchandising, Sam Walton would always carry a notebook with him and ask as many questions as he possibly could.  If you knew anything about retail or merchandising, you can rest assured that Sam was going to pick your brain until he knew everything that you knew.  His dominating thoughts were focused, making every moment a learning opportunity for him to gain a competitive edge.  Take some time to think about your dominate thoughts, and whether or not they are focused on taking you where you want to go.
